RIchmond neighborhood/PdX- August 2022

This was such a fun project, but bittersweet as it meant our friends would be moving out of state. I was honored to work with them and I’m proud of how we transformed their space! While I LOVED the home originally how they styled it, we all agreed things needed to be lightened and neutralized a bit.

It’s not often that the owners want to participate in the process, but they were all in and it made for a fun, memorable experience before they made their way to their new digs in Carlsbad, CA! We chose to paint with in a lighter pallet, changed some of the light fixtures and then had the home professionally staged (which looked amazing thanks to Judson Roy!). We did decide to keep a few of the bold accent walls, powder bath , GOLD laundry room/master bathroom, and even created a cigar room/mancave! It was the perfect touch to ensure this home left an impression on any buyer that walked through!

Our efforts did not disappoint and within a month we had an offer from a lovely couple looking to relocate from California (what a coincidence). Their kids that live locally where the first ones to come through and fall….before they convinced their parents there was no other place!

Purchase price on this home was $1,100,000.
